Terms and Conditions
Please review these travel guidelines before confirming your taxi reservation.
1. Fare Calculation & Tolls
- Toll & Parking Taxes: All national and state highway FASTag toll charges, airport parking fees, and municipal entry taxes are billed as actuals unless explicitly quoted as an all-inclusive fixed package.
- Per-KM Billing: For distance-based trips, distances are calculated based on the vehicle's starting garage odometer to the ending point in accordance with standard RTO commercial taxi practices in Gujarat.
- Extra Distance: Trips extending past the agreed itinerary or package limit will incur the stated per-km extra rate specified on our fleet pricing table.
2. Night Allowance & Driver Duty Hours
- For outstation and overnight trips involving travel between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, standard driver night allowance (₹300 - ₹500 depending on vehicle class) applies.
- For driver safety, continuous non-stop highway driving beyond 10-12 hours per calendar day without rest is strictly restricted.
3. Passenger Conduct & Legal Compliance
- Gujarat Prohibition Laws: The carriage or consumption of alcohol or illicit substances is strictly prohibited by law in the State of Gujarat. Drivers are instructed to report any violation to law enforcement.
- Smoking, chewing tobacco, or littering inside air-conditioned commercial vehicles is strictly prohibited.
- Seating capacity defined by government RTO regulations (e.g., 4 passengers in Sedan, 6 in Ertiga, 7 in Innova Crysta) cannot be exceeded under any circumstances.
4. Luggage & Personal Belongings
While our chauffeurs assist with loading and securing baggage, passengers are responsible for their personal valuables, jewelry, mobile phones, and cash. "Maa Kali Somnath Taxi" Service is not liable for items inadvertently left behind, though we maintain a dedicated lost-and-found desk at our Somnath headquarters.
5. Vehicle Breakdown & Unforeseen Delays
In the rare event of a mechanical breakdown, flat tire, or highway blockage, our 24x7 control room will dispatch a replacement commercial vehicle at the earliest possible notice without additional surcharge for the delay.
6. Jurisdiction
All contracts, disputes, and legal claims arising out of taxi reservations with "Maa Kali Somnath Taxi" shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Veraval / Gir Somnath, Gujarat, India.
